MMDDMM – It’s a Thai thing!!!

So, we go to a place that has previous. Some members had visited and the reports were mixed. Brilliant to be proven wrong! The welcome and service were great. Everything was prompt and efficient which is what a hungry midday mob require. The menu was Thai, well what do you expect? With 4 starters and 4 mains none of which I remember, happy tummies were assured and with loads of veggie options, all bases were covered. Mushroom soup, spring Rolls, Pad Thai as well as Chicken Padang, Beef and Broccoli packed the gap. My only comment is that you must be a lover of coconut milk, Coriander and Lemongrass to fully embrace the experience. Thanks to the intervention of CEO Marc, extra wine flowed. Weird as it may sound but in Spain ‘Picante’ is OK, ie; give me lots of spicy chorizo with pimentón BUT I WILL NOT EAT A CURRY! Therefore, a sauce with ‘OOOOmph’ was ordered and they duly obliged and my, was it wunderschoenlichen. A 3.5 out of 5 was awarded for their efforts and great grub at restaurant Bangkok on the corner of Calle Bordadores and Calle Arenal.

El Ñeru was the post-prandial stop where several bottles of wonderful natural Asturian cider were quaffed and the story goes that the group ended up in Las Cuevas de Sesamo, listening to classical piano but this reviewer was stringin’ zeds together, sleeping through several films.
